New to the forum and can't find the search button. Just bought a 2002 E320 wagon in silver and proceeded to clean the windshield. Lifted the wiper arm and now can't bring it back to the glass. No release button is apparent. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This must be some weird right of passage. I have my neighbors laughing at me now. Why would a wipe lock itself in the open position?[:@]
