E300 Gearbox code .
Hi Guys, can anyone tell me how to determine, from the chassis number, the type of auto geabox in my 1999 E00 TD Estate 
The gearbox has lost 4th & 5th gears and my local tranny guy needs to know which box it is before I send the heap to him.
