Default E220 - losing power, Misfiring

I am a new MB owner my E220 loses power like it's misfiring or starving for fuel, However problem is overcome by turning the engine off and restarting, so I have the feeling it is an electrical problem. Has anyone experienced similar or have a solution ???

Yes, on the 320 engines this problem is always the crankshaft position sensor. You will get only partial power out of your engine untill a nother restart (reset of ECM computer).
Easy fix, search for CPS or crank position sensor. Good luck!

Solution was 100% correct. Used a sensor from a friend with the same model and problem disapeared. Now to find a replacement part in Fiji !!
