My e200 w210 1995(automatic) is giving me problems with power. does not go beyond 80km/hr even with accelerator fully pressed. This results in gear 4 not engaging. what could be the problem. It also cuts off full throttle acceleration at rev. counter mark 40 rather than 60 when stationery.

 

mas or catalytic convertor,,,both will do this,,,,

 

All Mercedes cars will only let you rev the engine to 4000-5000 rpms while stationary.
Not all cars, but I know from 1998 and up do that.

 

hi all ive got a merc 320 e 210 im having trouble with air in the diesal pipes i drive up the road and it just cuts out its just driving me mad any ideas wellcome thanks .tom
