Default Crazy E350 front seat problem

Here's the problem, everything on my 2013 E350 driver seat works, EXCEPT the backrest. It will go down (towards the back), but will only come up about ten inches. The only way to drive it is to have a pillow between my back and the seat. Have done the memory reset, disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, checked all the fuses, and took out the two front bolts on the seat so I could tip it back and check the connections on the control module. Everything looks fine. Has anyone else had this problem? It always worked fine until last month. I spoke with the dealer who said it was probably the motor. I told him everything works, but he still said they would have to pull out the seat to check it out.

Hello and welcome to the forum! It does sound like there is an issue with the motor. If the fuses check out, the module or motor itself would be where to troubleshoot next.

Video I made on how to fix this.

Does anybody know why my seat won't go forward or back? everything else works. How many motors are there working these functions?
