Default Crank angle sensor problem, '05 e500

We've had this car a few months. It had a problem where it wouldn't start if it was hot, had to let it cool then start. Codes said crank angle sensor, replaced that, starts fine every time now.

The problem I have now is if you floor it, the engine cuts off. Not if you accelerate hard, only if you floor it. When floored it'll accelerate hard for a moment, then it cuts off. I pull over, turn the key off then back on, and it starts right up with a CEL.

Code says crank angle sensor. I'm not sure what to do next, aside from "don't ever floor it".
