Where does it go? Just did an engine swap, engine runs, car drives, can't remember where I unplugged CAS from.
Also, I've got plenty of oil, but oil pressure gauge is pegged (even when engine is off and ignition is in "on" position) and oil light stays on. Yes, I have oil in the car.

crank position sensor,unlke the w210 engine where it is on the bell housing the 300e is located on the front of the engine.Sorry it has been awhile since doing one or I'd have a picture to post of exact position.

Found where crank angle sensor plug goes. already have CAS mounted above front crank pulley; the 3-prong plug has the prongs labeled as 7-8-9 which match 3 of the holes in the diag port. It looks as if this plug has been taken out of the port before, because I'd have to unbolt the port to get it back in there, and that was not touched when working on the engine this time around.

Oil sender is behind the oil filter mounting bracket, correct? Looks like there is another sensor at the front of the oil pan. Both are plugged in, and unplugging either one does nothing to change the readings on the instrument panel: Oil light stays on, and oil pressure is pegged at 3. This rings true even if I just turn the key to ON before cranking the engine over. Perplexing.
