Default central locking

Hi, got a problem with my 98R E200 avantgarde i've just bought.

The locking wont work, just the lights flash, indicators work when they want to, and whenever the indicators stop working so do the electric windows.

Also i was told there was a problem with the electric sunroof in that it cannot be retracted as the guide for the steel wires have worn loose. I have been advised that i need a complete sunroof magazine, is this true, or can i just replace the guides??

Any ideas on how to fix any of these problems

Thanks for any help

PSE (pneumatic system equipment) pump faulty brush on motor.

Right, i'm on the hunt for a new PSE pump, thanks.

On the sunrrof, it was opened up and checked. I'm told its a problem with w210's made around 97/98, along with rusting around the bottom of wheel arches and doors.

If i do get a new magazine, can i buy without the glass, as my glass is in perfect condition

Thanks all

of course. the glass is a separate component.

you better spray an undercoat inside the running board too. the water accumulates there during rainy days. there are two rubber grommet where you can insert noozle. a can is enough together with the wheel arch. use the rubberized type undercoat.
