IS it safe to remove fuse no8, rather than what I do now is remove the 3 pins connecting the Regulator?

No8 is not going to be used for other pupose?

What you mean No4 & 7 is for AC when key is in ignition & engine turn on?

it is safe to remove for as long as you don't inhale the battery fume, don't leave the engine running on gear, and don't let the seat drop onto your limbs.

8 permanently feeds the a/c pushbutton and regulator (ignition off)

7 permanently feeds the duo valve (ignition off)

4 feeds blower regulator (ignition "on")

Thanks Sleepwalker,

Confirming Fuse # 8 is not use for other functions, its just for "permanently feeds a/c push button & regulator (ignition off)".

no. when i say permanent, i mean terminal 15. terminal 15 means hot all the time. hot all the time means always got power. always got power means it got 12 volts electricity on it.

i didn't say there is no other consumer for fuse #8. i assume you already know that the steering and seat adjustment depends on it.

Sleepwalker,

Since Fuse #8 also for Steering, I will leave it as is. But thanks, at least I know its AC Fuse.

I will put the switch or control unit back in the front dash. However I notice there 2 white plastic (pencil like) which need to be inserted into the 2 plastic behind the dash. What procedure do I look for, in putting the swicth back?
