Default Blower regulator

I have a 1997 E320 Mercedes. The blower vertilation fan will only come on medium speed. This is with AC or Econ. How do I replace the blower fan regulator?

take off the lower cover under the glovebox (in the footwell). then you will see a black plastic circle with 4 t20 torx screws, once you remove those, the regulator is exposed and have fun!

Rob,
I had a similar situation on my 96 E300...A/C was working on all levels, blower just suddenly quit...checked fuse, everything was fine...I can hear the A/C engaging when I turn it ON but no air(hot or cold) comes out of the vent..can you point me to a direction...what to check further or should I go directly to the blower? thanks man

Get to the blower motor and check that power is to it when it should be on.You can also put power to it to test the blower.
1996 E300 some of the diy might be applicable.
