So i'm driving along and my E320 kills on me. I coast it to the side of the road and try to restart it. The engines revs but wont start. I get out the car, sit on the curb and brainstorm. 5 mins later i get in the car and it starts. i drive it home and just before i get into my driveway its dies on me again. Any thoughts?

 

These symptoms sound typical of a failing Crankshaft Position Sensor.
