accelerating when stopped at around 100 r
I have a 1991 190-E series merecedes. The temperature where I am located dropped to -20 F and I started having the problems that follow, even with the warm up to 25 F.

When I start up the car, it will self accelerate and idle at 1000 rpm's. Driving on a highway is okay, but when I try to stop at a stop light etc. the car will acclerate and lurch forward, so that I have to turn it off. If I don't turn it off it will the engine will keep reving and I will slide on the awful ice and snow. I donnot have this problem in the summer, only winter time. I have added dry gas etc. to no avil. What could this be? Please advise.
