I have recently purchased 99 E240. Don’t have the user manual in English as it is Japanese spec car. Shall be grateful if someone can tell what is the function of the ASR switch located near the automatic gear lever and the power window switches.

 

Hi, the ASR switch is for the anti skid control of the rear wheels. if you switch the ASR off the rear wheels will skid when you power up. I would not switch it off if i where you. paulie
