Default 98 E320 Headlight problem

I have a '98 e320 and the driver side headlight (low beam) flickers then goes off after a few miles. After the car sits for a day or two it works again. I had the bulb replaced and it still doesnt work. Anyone else encountered this?

Try this, unplug your headlight entirely... follow your owner's manual, then re-plug it. I think that you have a loose wire, nothing more. If you say that you have had your bulb replaced, try investigating your fuse, they're super cheap and it could save you a trip back to the mechanic. Good luck!

Had the same thing happen to me 20,000 ago!. Upon close inspection, good work light and inspection mirror. I noticed cracking in the insulation of one of the wires that went to the headlight.
It was an easy repair. I also checked the other side and found the same issues without ( having of yet ) a problem with that headlight.
Easy DIY if you have the patience to work within the space and small wires. Good Luck! -J
