ok i have a 97 e320 i just purchased a vin specific tumbler from the dealership i installed new part and the key will turn over but it will not unlock the steering column or start the car it unlocks doors from the truck locks them and when i turn key over in the ignition i get power but it wont crank over i do not have a key pad for the car i lock doors with the trunk the key the dealership gave me with the new tumbler is just a plain key with no chip if anyone has any input u can post it here or send me a direct message to escosaint404@gmail.com
