92 300 4matic:Is my trans a 722?& do I have a B2?

I have a 1992 124 300te 4matic with automatic transmission: Will someone tell me what trans I have (is it a 722) and if it has a B2 valve?

you should have a 722.3 transmission. it does have a b2 valve in the valve body, but i believe you are referring to the b2 piston. the b2 piston is what applies the b2 band around the k2 drum. these are notorious for getting cocked in their bore and breaking or leaking. it is fairly easy to repair if yours is broken. just do a google search for 722.3 b2 piston repair
