Hello folks, first time posting.

I am in desperate need of some assistance, at my wits end right now. The short story: The 260E's alternator died on me, I have gotten a new one from AutoZone and another at Rockauto.com. Upon trying to put the new one in, I find out it is about a millimeter too small, the mounting holes will not line up. Now I've found one at the dealership, going to be over twice the the expense, something that will be hard for me to manage at this time. I would like to understand why these parts aren't fitting, and what manufacturer/part# I should be using.
