long story short, broke key in ignition.. towed all over with no luck of retreiving key or getting tumbler off. spent a month trying to get around it myself, once again no luck. yesterday had a mobile mechanic come out and took 6 hours just to remove the entire steering lock assembly.

now that thats out of the way, i'm looking for a temporary fix just to get the car started without replacing the whole assembly until i have a little bit more money to do the rest.

CAN I GET CAR STARTED BY ONLY PUTTING A NEW IGNITION SWITCH TO GET STARTED WITH SCREWDRIVER??

i dont want to have to replace the whole steering lock housing, tumbler and cover so that i can cover some other bills i have at the moment.

if you have any knowledge on this please help!!!
