Well, i have owned my 300E for almost 6months now, only got driven for 2 tho, rebuild. I was searching the net and found old times from drag stips on testing of the 87 300E 3.0 I6. I was impressed. It runs about the same times as a stock 89 Honda Prelude (first car). I just dropped a guru of money into the motor bay and under carage of mine but... a stock 87 with the inline 6 runs a 0-60mph in 7.5sec, runs a 1/4mile in 16.0sec. That's faster then my buddies civic!!! ha ha. I was impressed. Never imagined a 2 1/4ton car being that quick... i might have to modify my 3.0L and drop it back in... ha ha.
