my brother found a 1986 300e, its got 225,000 miles on the engine. the waterpump is bad. is it hard to replace? the man that owns it bought it for his wife and someone stole the stock radio out of it. he says when u hook up the battery the alarm goes off ???????? can he bypass that some how? i really appreciate your time and your knowledge!!!!! thanx again

 

water pump not hard to replace. got plenty of space.

just disconnect the alarm.

 

i appreciate it man. do you think its worth it tho? me personaly, i think it is. i own the exact same car and i love it! like i said the body is in good condition. the carpet on the inside needs to be replaced but, i dont think thats a problem tho.
