please help me with the problem I'm having with my 1988 260e. On occasion in the year past the car would stall after braking at light or slowing down and would not start until I used starting fluid then it would start ,also waiting an hour or two it would start right up like it had no problems now after driving on the highway for 20-30 min when letting off gas it stalls and wont start till i use the starting fluid again I can never get this to happen in a controlled environment so testing to voltage has not happened and if I bring a voltage meter it would be hard to check the pump voltage under the car.IS there anyway to check where the terminal for the computer comes under the dash or anyway someone could tell me how to check while maybe bypass relay?

 

check for faulty fuel pump there are two maybe one is out or not working....
