How do you change the battery on the remote control for the 2001 E320?

 

It actually depends on the remote you have. if it is the original style remote. Pull out the blade key from the bottom of the remote. After the blade is removed there will be a little slide lever... I don't know what to call it... as you slide it to the left or right I don't remember.. slide out/pull out the bottom portion of the remote control with pocket screwdriver or your finger.nail will work also. it will slide out of the case of the remote.
if it happens to be a new remote.... it will have a triangle shape panic button... just pry off the back of the remote at the bottom where the chrome and the black plastic meet.
