Default 1998 E320 Electrical Problem

Started with driver's window failure, progressed to power seat

Then "healed"

Spread to Passengers, interior lights, rear-view mirrors, steering wheel, sunroof

Only rear windows continue to work

Is there a common module that controls these devices?

Angry I'm having the same problem

I have the same problem with my 1999 E300.

I I disconnect the battery and wait a few seconds then reconnect everything works again for a while. They usually fail again right after I start the car and not while it's being driven. Sometimes it's both widows, sometimes one window and mirrors.

I just did new fuel lines and conductor plate in the transmission...getting tired of working on the car

hunch....i'd seriously give the fuse cluster, PSE pump (both under rear seat) a super close
inspection. this almost sounds like classic case where water intrusion occurred and has
caused electrical disruption to one/both devices mentioned.

cause could be a plugged drain, causing water to accumulate in that compartment

the foam and plastic surrounding the PSE module may cause water to be retained longer
