Greetings all, I have a problem with a W210 estate E320. The problem is with the split rear seat backs. The right side works fine bit the left is locked in the up position, the release leaver doesn’t seem to be connected to any thing any longer. Any ides how to get to the release mechanism?

If you need to repair any of the interior plastic parts that crack and brake so easily, Araldite 2022, does a very good job its expensive but still cheaper the dealer pricing for new parts, it is thick and sets to a creamy colour, and can be carved like cheese just before it sets hard.
