Default 1997 Mercedes-Benz E320 starting?

My '97 E320 starts fine when the engine is cold but when it reaches its normal temperature and you shut it off ... it will not start until the engine temperature is below 60C ... what could be the problem?

Default Cheap place to begin

R/R the CPS crankshaft position sensor
www.autohausaz.com carries them for the M104 engine
Scan for pending codes.

OHLORD is right in saying to check for pending codes. Guessing can cost you a fortune. You should have a CE light on so access to codes with a OBD11 scanner.
