Default 1997 E320 - Valve cover gasket and cabin air filter

Hi guys

1997 E320 3.2 6cyl. line

1 - I decided to replace the Valve cover gasket and the cabin air filter.
I need to find out the torgue for valve cover bolts to do it properly.
Any other details are more than welcome.

2 - Where is the cabin air filter located and how can I replace it...

Thx
Peter

I know the cabin filters are located right behind the glove compartment. I am trying to replace them as well.
I took off all the screws of the compartment but I can get the compartment off from the dash board. I need some good advice too.

Hi

Make sure the lamp is out and disconnected. Then insert a blade or screwdriver at the top right side of the gloves box in order to pull it out. Do same thing at top left.
There are two vertical guiders there that prevent the box comming out. I grinded them to make it easier for next time. Here is a link which could be usefull.
