Default 1995 E320 automatic SW, raditor?

Today had opened the reserviour bottle for adding some coolant, at once noticed that the hose pipe coming from the coolant bottle to raditor started leaking up from the point where the hose is attached to the raditor with a L type nipple which eventually goes in the raditor. I dont understand this leakeage started when i had opened the coolant bottle cap. Is this normal?

After toping up the raditor coolant bottle had started the engine. Now there is a slight leckage of one or two drops from the same nipple otherwise it is not throwing coolant as it was doing at the time of opening the reserviour coolant botle cap. Can anyone tell is there some O ring in this L type nipple which has done its life and needs to be changed or something else. Should i just apply some glue on the top of the nipple so that there is no further leakage. (Remeber now there is hardly any leakeage) I am afaraid now of taking this car on higway.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

You can get the fitting seperate at a dealer. Shouldn't cost too much.

The correct way is to pull the coolant hose directly below where the fitting goes in and use a boxed end wrench to compess the tabs and it will slide out. I don't remember the wrench size, maybe 10 mm, give or take. The new fitting you just push back in the hole until it locks.
