i just replaced my back muffler on my 300e. the resonator, center muffler, is about to go too. the local muffler shop recommends removing the resonator, and adding a bypass pipe. He said the rear muffler does the majority of the silencing, and that the center muffler is practically over-kill. Wondering what the experts think? Thanks in advace for your time and reply.
