Hi Forum,

I have a E 300 D 1986. I lifted the rear seat and noticed the white canister had been removed and the plug was just left un connected. I went to a local junk yard found the exact car and found the canister. I have yet to plug it in. Does anyone know what this canaister is for? There is a sealed liquid inside of it. A white plug with wires plugs into a three post connecter ??????????? As well neither of my rear electric windows will go down? Would this be a relay or a fuse? If it is a relay where can I find it and replace it? Any help on these issues would be most apprecated. (As well this is an automatic 6 cyl Turbo Diesel) when it shifts it revs in first gear prett bad and then shifts hard. Is this a vacume adjustment issue and if so how do I adjust so this car will shift softer?
