Drove my son's 190E/2.6 yesterday because he said his gas milage is starting to suck. On the highway at 60mph the rpm was at 3000. Just seems like this engine should be working a little less at that speed. Is this right?

 

3000RPM at 60 mph is totally normal.
Nothing's wrong.
