Default Warning Lights on all over the place

1999 CLK430 with 115k miles on it.
Running well, just had a right rear tire replaced yesterday.
This AM on the way to the office the brakes are "jittery"
Then lights and warnings start coming on in this order:
BAS
ESP
ABS
CEL (check engine)
When I looked I also noticed that my speedometer is on 0, I am going about 60mph on the freeway at the time.
Turned off the car and restarted and the CEL stays on.
Help, suggestions, where do I start, I am good with a wrench and the nearest MB dealer is an hour from my house.
Could really use your help.

Yeah, they do that when you replace a tire. You see the ABS system counts wheel rotations and compares them in order to detect wheel spinning and sliding. Ifthe new tire has substancially more tread on it, or if the tire size is not the same, the wheels will turn atdifferent speeds and, it will drive that system crazy. You may have to buy the other rear tireto solve the problem. Blue

Also if there are metal filings sticking to the magnetic ABS wheel sensors, as the result of worn brakes or a recent brake job, you need to blow those sensors clean with compressed air. The metal filings can also makethat system go crazy. Both problems are common and simple, and a part of regular wheel/tire/brake maintenance. I hope its nothing more.

Well, hopefully that is the problem. They had ordered the tire for me but got the wrong size, so they put a different tire on temporarily until mine arrives, that is probably the problem!! Good to hear, what about the speedo being stuck on 0?
