stainless exhaust clk230 k

Default stainless exhaust clk230 k
Will a stainless exhaust work ok on my clk230k just the back box, the standard box is very big so i need to know does the standard back box cut out most of the noise will my smaller stainless be to loud and is it safe to have fitted will it damage the engine thanks
