a sign of things to come????
Having just taken receipt of my new lovely silver CLK, & just placing it on my drive (not actually having driven it yet) I came back late from work the other night & noticed 1 wing mirror folded closed, I thought nothing of it & thought a friend had just pushed it in for safety, only to find the next morning some muthaf.... had driven into the side of my car. Upon closer inspection in the daylight, the cu.... has taken out the wing mirror & indicator, gouged the side of the car where they must of 1st hit it, & scarred down the side of the door trying to park alongside mine. HOW STUPID CAN THIS PERSON BE!!! I'M FUMING & will be seeking revenge (cos I know who's done it, seeing as he's left his blue paint all over the damage)
Sorry for the rant!
Now my question - what rims sit better ona w208.... 18" or 19"? It comes with standard 16's, but an upgrade is definately required.

Rant rightfully due.
Sorry about your aweful experience. I know exactly how you feel; our brand new two week old minivan just got tagged, after we relplaced the old minivan which got tagged. I have not yet removed the paper mats or the instruction stickers from my new C300yet, and have no plans of leaving it in a parking lot for some $5 jerk to "tag" it.
Anybody that would hit a "brand new" silver CLK, is eitherdumber than a squirrel, bleeding out of the ears fromcrystal meth, or has some kind of seriousself-hate disorder with you.I am siding with you on this issue because this type of thing has grown suspiciously rampant, and i also owned and loved a silver CLK. It has happened to me and many people I know, and I dont beleive they didnt see yoursparkling $70k mercedes while parking. It is only slightly more believable than someone not seeing a firetruck or schoolbus.I mean to say its one thing when the kids say (daddy, we washed your car) or the wife says (honey, I piled all those naily boards in the garage) but not knowing what happened is the worst part.I have heard and believe that getting it repaired immediately is the best remedy for the unsettling feeling and getting past it. Maybe some new wheels will brighten the day.Once again, I hate this happened, and you are not alone.
