Was wondering if anyone could help me out here with a problem on my seat controls. My car is a clk240 2002 (facelift model)

My front headrests are in the up position and cannot be be controlled from the door switches, theres a malfunction on the dashboard display saying restraint fault.

If I tilt either the driver or passenger seat forward to let someone into the back seat, the head rests move down and then back up when the seat is moved back. If I press the head rest down button when the head rest is going up, they will stop and hold their position, however, none of the other seat electrics will work until I tilt the seat forward and let the headrests cycle up and down unhindered.

Has anyone had a similar problem or have any suggestions, I'd appreciate any help as its confusing me?
