Seat adjustments not working on either front seat!
Hey, all .... I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem. Both the driver and passenger side front seats will not seat adjust at all. The dealer says that there is a module under each that has to be the culprit, but there is no way on God's Green Earth that they BOTH failed at the same time. Plus, the driver's side was working and then when my wife hit her preset button, the seat moved all the way up and is now stuck there. One other strange thing that has started happening is that I am only intermittently able to lock and unlock the car via the trunk/passenger door key slot (I don't have an operating push button remote key).
Last bit of data I have is that we checked out all the fuses and they all seem OK. While doing so, we noticed that the battery well had a pool of water in it. I am guessing that the rear window seal must have a leak in it since I can't imagine where else the water came from. I mention the water in case that is a clue as to why there are strange malfunctions going on.
Before I start taking out seats to examine modules, I thought I would turn to the collective wisdom of you all.
Thanks!

What's the model and year?
Just for now, on some models, there is another cluster of fuses in the engine bay, above the driver's legs. The lid of the box has sliding release catches. Funny thing is that it's not mentioned in the driver's handbook.

Greetings, the driver's seat back adjustment (recline position) on my 2003 ML350 is not responding. The seat forward, up and down works fine, but only the back (recline) function doesn't work. Everything on the PASSENGER seats works fine. Since everything except this one function is working, I don't think it is the fuse (I couldn't locate a seat fuse. I'll check in the rear).
Has anyone had this isse? I checked the wiring connectors under the seat and seem fine.
