After a while of trying to figure this out, I did run the voltage and ground tests on the 3-pin connector going to the sensor. The far end is a ground, the far other end is a battery voltage and the one in the middle has about 11.5 volts, likely the signal wire.

For now, I've coded out the rain and light sensor to get rid of the warning. Anyone else deal with this? Are my diagnostics correct?
