Hi I'm completely new to this forum and have just bought a black 2003 CLK500 which I absolutely love. The only thing is that it has the original standard exhaust set up and it just doesn't sound like a 5l V8 should to me.
I've looked at loads of performance exhaust websites for info inc. Eisenmann, Brabus, Supersprint, Renntech etc. There is also one called Vortex exhausts which makes claims of a 10% increase in BHP thru it's Vortex raceflo system (this seems too good to be true to me).
Anyhow can anyone recommend a quality exhaust set up system and reputable place to fit it - i don't mind paying more for a good quality product and professional fitting. Increased power and MPG would be good but really i'm after a throaty sound worthy of the engine and one that will not compromise the car - either twin or quad pipes acceptable.
