LED clock display
Hi everyone,
I have a fault with the time clock display in the dashboard. Most of the time only half of the characters are showing, (not always the same part of the number). I have been told that I need to get a complete instrument cluster at a cost of over £500. Is this true or is there something simple that I can do? e.g. clean contacts, replace the clock etc? On the same subject how easy is it to get the instrument cluster out? It is a 2001 CLK230.
Also does anyone know of a GOOD independant service garage in the south yorkshire, england, area?
