Fuel Filter location on 2001 CLK320

Hi there,
Anybody knows where the fuel filter on a CLK320 2001 is located?
I looked under the hood and did not find it.

Its contained in the fuel package by the rear axle. The pump and the filter are behind a plastic cover. You will need some rubber caps to cap the loose connections or you will get soaked in fuel. Be safe.
