I cannot move the power seat forward or backward. I checked the fuses and they are good. I checked the track for obstruction,did not find any. I tapped the motor under the seat while trying to move the seat with no success. I do not hear a clicking sound when I try to move the seat I have read that there maybe a defective relay or module. I don`t know where they are located. I cannot find any thing anywhere where the location of these items are. If any one can help, It would be greatly appreciated. I am frustrated trying to repair this item. I do not want to remove the seat and I do not want to take it to the dealer.

 

check the fuses in the trunk under the floor cover mat in front of the spare tire area. there are a few fuses for seats in there also. also check the plug under the front seat. maybe it came lose or was knocked loose.

 

Thanks for that info,but I did all that and everything looks ok. I also checked the tracks for obstruction. I did`nt find any.

 

Can anyone tell me where the drivers power seat module is located on my 2002 clk cabriolet? I have a suspicion that the module went bad.
