I bought a 2001 CLK430 last year. I used to live in Chicago and now I moved to California. For some odd reason, the minute that I crossed into California my car started calling Road Side Assistance w/o me pressing any buttons or anything of the sort, so I'm starting to get very curious as to what the problem might be. I talked to the dealer and the only semi non bull answer that I received was that I have not paid for the road side assistance service. But after I called Mercedes Benz they told me that the car shouldn't be doing that regardless if I purchased the yearly service or not. Has anyone had similar problems? If so please tell me how I can stop it.
