Door sill light! Help!!!

Door sill light! Help!!!
I just got a 99 CLK 320 convertible with 41K miles mint condtition. No problems except the drivers side door sill light is out. I popped it off to change the bulb and there is no way to access the bulb????? Any suggestions????? There were some tiny *** screws but they looked like everyone was rounded off what the heck.
