CLK320's Soft Top
Hi guys,
First of all, thanks for this great forum, I am going to use it a lot to learn more about MBenz and the CLK in particular. I am planning on buying my first Mercedes, a CLK 320 Cab 2002. It is a beautiful car and I know I will love it. I have a question though, when I tried to put the top down, after I unlatched it the windows would go down and top would rise a little but then nothing happens, I have to give it a push myself to make until the first part get bent then the top proceeds to open normally. I spoke with the dealer about but he brushed it off as all the CLK 320s do that. Unfortunately he didn't have another one so I can test that out, so here I come to this forum to ask you; is this true or is the dealer just trying to sell me quickly?
George

RE: CLK320's Soft Top
Nevermind, I called another dealer and he says that shouldn't happen. I called my dealer back and he looked at it and he says he misunderstood the problem, he thought I was just talking about the first push you give so it would go up right after you unhook it.
Thanks,
George
