CLK Door/window closing

CLK side windows
Hi,
Thanks for your help - I have solved the mystery. It is my wife's car and I am ashamed to admit that I did not know the rear side windows opened having only driven it once. Although the panel switch was in the inoperative position the window had somehow lowered!
All I had to do was move the switch to operative, raise the window the2-3mm and allwas well.
Goes to show the saying is correct " there's no fool like an old fool".
Thanks to all who helped.
Geoff
