Not sure how, but i got a damaged tail light on my 2005 CLK55 AMG Cabriolet (W209). I found a decent deal on a replacement tail light and ordered it. Does anyone have experience changing one out? I'm sure I could figure it out and waste a lot of my time, but wanted to see if anyone knows the correct/proper way to do it.

 

3 or 4, 8mm nuts around the light housing then push them out.

 

you were correct. when i got the new one delivered i saw the mounting points. 3 simple 8mm bolts. took all of 20 minutes to fix.
