Default 60,000 Mile Service

Hi I am jimmy ,

New to the forums here .

I quickly wanted to ask . Can anyone list what exactly is involved in a "B2 service" As its called at the dealer if I am not mistaken . I checked the service manual and unless I missed it somewhere it did not Specify .

The Dealer where I purchased the car Tells me service will cost 645.00 plus 150.00 radiator flush. Plus tax and all will be close to about 1000.00 All I know is that they evacuate the brake fluid and change a combo filter and wipers and check list .

I wanted to see in detail what exactly gets done aside from a checklist that most in the repair world tells me will go unsatisfied .

So I am looking into possibly doing it myself , hiring a respected and well known mechanic , or having the dealer do it with the privilege of a courtesy car .

I have no problem bringing the car to the dealer but if its just a checklist that will be just glanced at, A 1000 dollars seems allot .

Thanks you for any information its greatly appreciated .

Jimmy,
I was quoted $600 ish also from the dealer. I called around to local neighborhood foreign car repair facilities and found out that service is just a "glorified oil change" Had my "A" service done for $150.00 with new air filter and tire rotation.
I would only use the dealer if my car was under warranty.
