Big problems Please help.

Problem1: First the engine will crank but it will not start.

Solution: Replaced the Crank Positioning Sensor " VIN # sensitive" that solved and the engine start ok. Do not get one from eBay they are too long and will grind against the flywheel. $132.00 from the dealer, take your registration.

Problem 2: When taking off the transmission changed into second with a loud bang and the thransmition will not shift manually out of drive into 4,3,2 or 1.

Temporary Solution. Turn the car off and on. Everything goes back to normal for like a week.
