Default 1999 CLK 320 Soft Top

Today was the first time I operated the top and at first I put it up with no problems. Then later when I put it down after a brief rain shower it seemed to work OK as well, although I remember hearing some strange noises. Later when I tried to put it back up it seemed to jam and did not fully lock up and now it won't move at all but my top switch light flashes and there are beeping sounds when I move the car.
The top is not locked in the rear and I can't open the trunk to see what is happening there.Has anyone got any suggertions for me and where can I locate the fuses for the top.
Thanks

I took it to my automotive shop and they had to replace a broken cable on the right side of the car. Are you not able to open the trunk manually with the key attached to your regular key ? Make sure thast the sensor on the right side inside the trunk is fully depressed as the top will not open unless this is OK.
