Crankshaft sensor failed causing engine to cut out

Default Crankshaft sensor failed causing engine to cut out

Has anyone experienced their engine cutting out with loss of power to the power steering and reduction in assistance to brakes

Before 3 months I parked my car came back after shopping and trying to start the car surprise me took so long to start after going back home left car for 2 ours and then came back again car not even start anymore also check engine came ON pulled obd2 code and it gave me faulty Crank shift sensor Order one Boosch from Amazon and car back working fine I don’t know what do you mean by brakes and loses power Is that after replacement or Before that ?

It sounds like the engine going into limp mode from what the OP is describing. This is a fail-safe mode that your car goes into to prevent other components from getting damaged.
