XM Antenna

This one is kind of a pain in the butt. What is the best way to run a magnet antenna from the trunk to the interior of the car in a C320 that does not have backseats that fold down. It looks like it is pretty sealed up from the backseat to the trunk without little or no access. I can not find a way through there for the life of me. Anyone have an idea of how to get through to the back seat? I plan to run the antenna wire from the top of the trunk, down in, to the back seat, under the back seat floor mat, under the passenger seat and in to the dash. Any suggestions? Thanks

I noticed a lot of the models have a release in the trunk to tilt them down but I do not have that. Since it is not the fold down version it is in there pretty good and I cant even find a way to get in there at all. They are in there real good and snug. When you look from the trunk it seems as if there would be a way but when you are in the back seat itself there is just nothing to take out. I dont want to have to drill a hole or take it in and get charged up the rear for something so small.

I have a '98 C280, and I ran my antenna wire from under the dash to under the right front and rear door sills. From there, I tucked the wire behind the rear seat and seat back and left the magnetic antenna stuck on the grill ofone of thespeakers. I tried this location with the wire run loosely inside the car as a test first and was quite satified with the location. Why don't you try someplace inside the car first astest location before you go through all of that aggravation?
